Bend in The Road Productions, a television and movie company formed by Diane English, creator of Murphy Brown, was looking for a fresh identity to help tell their story.

About the Company

English created, wrote, and produced the groundbreaking comedy Murphy Brown starring Candice Bergen, which originally ran for ten seasons on CBS from 1988-98. More recently, she produced and directed the major motion picture film The Women an adaptation of Clare Booth Luce’s iconic play and George Cukor’s 1939 film. And two decades after the award-winning series Murphy Brown originally ended, CBS has announced a 13-episode reboot for the 2018-19 season.

The Approach
Bend in the Road is the name of English’s favorite beach. The name was chosen to convey the  excitement and possibilities of unexpected new experiences that lie just around “the bend in the road”. We developed the logo design and onscreen animation for this entertainment company.
